The 7th EXPO REA, international real estate and commercial property fair took place in Munich, Germany from October 4th through 6th. Passerinvest Group attended this gathering of the key players in the European real estate market for the third time. This year, however, they opened the first exhibition stand of their own there. Passerinvest Group gave a presentation on the latest phases of the BB Centrum scheme, the Beta and Gamma buildings and the conversion of Brumlovka into a state-of-the-art sports complex.
“We built up new contacts and renewed existing contacts with investment funds and institutional investors concerning the planned sale of Beta, which should be implemented once the building has the first tenants,” said Zbyněk Passer, Marketing Director, to explain the main reasons for participation in the fair. EXPO REAL is valuable to Passerinvest, according to Zbyněk Passer: “EXPO REAL generates a much more business-like atmosphere than MIPIM, Cannes, which we also attend. Both visitors and exhibitors are different at the two shows. EXPO REAL appeals especially to exhibitors from German speaking countries. Granted that the U.K. and France stage their exhibitions too, as they represent two major European markets. The number of Asian and North-American companies is significantly lower as EXPO REAL than at MIPIM, because EXPO REAL is more about Western, Central and Eastern Europe markets than overall global issues. As for the visitors, the structure is different too. Most of the attendees at MIPIM are from investment funds in search for projects to acquire. By contrast, EXPO REAL appeals to tenants and the office managers of large companies, our prime customers. This why EXPO REAL is of higher value to us than MIPIM. In addition, it is true that the event is remarkably cheaper and easier to arrange for with the organiser, but for all that, it is still at the top level with regard to its organisation. This explains why we attended this year’s EXPO REAL with an independent exhibition. It is the first time in the 12-year history of Passerinvest Group that we have had our own stand, and we intend to reuse it in the future. The stand is created in co-operation with Board Vision of Ústí n. L., to a new corporate design in line with the re-branding of BB Centrum with a new logo and other materials created at the turn of 2004. It was a pleasure to premiere the new materials at EXPO REAL.”
