Budova B has acquired another tenant for its office spaces. At the end of November of this year, Alcon Pharmaceuticals (Czech Republic), which is part of the Alcon concern, the world leader in eye care, with a focus on eye surgery, and one of the largest manufacturers of contact lenses and products oriented on the treatment of dry eyes, will be taking over more than 1 000 m2 of space. Moving into the new offices will be an opportunity for both of their divisions (Surgical and Vision Care) to design the spaces precisely according to their requirements and thus adapt to the new method of work in the company. The Colliers International consulting company mediated the lease transaction and contributed to the negotiations. The building Budova B is currently undergoing a complete reconstruction, which should be completed during the month of June. There is still 4 500 m2 of office space and 250 m2 of retail space available to rent.
“The tour of the spaces with Alcon Pharmaceuticals took place in person before the extraordinary measures in connection with COVID-19. All further communication and negotiations then followed in online mode only. Thus, we are pleased that thanks to the perfect cooperation of all the participating subjects, we managed to successfully complete the entire process in a relatively short time, even under these limited conditions. Now we can work together with the tenant to prepare their new offices,” stated Lenka Preslová, the Head of the Sales Department of Passerinvest Group, a.s.
Thanks to the revitalisation, Budova B and its 15 600 m2 of office spaces over 8 storeys and 1 240 m2 of retail space on the ground floor will once again belong among category A office buildings. NEWPS.CZ, a specialist and innovator in the area of IT processes, digitalisation and secure access, will become the first tenant of the office space in July of this year. A new public relaxation zone will be created in the building’s atrium with a garden, plus there will be a green rooftop terrace with an area of 1 000 m2 for the building tenants. The revitalisation also contains the construction of a new square with fully-grown trees, seating and a water feature between Budova B and the adjacent Budova C.
The author of the modernisation is the architectural studio A8000, while the investor and owner of the building is Passerinvest Group, a.s.
